It was on the news this am Channel 7 that 3 fishermen were out on the lake but on the way in the boat overturned and the one without a life jacket died.
They showed a lake in the background that was still low. Did anyone else see this. What's the lake level? The link in this site doesn't work for Jocassee.
If anyone hears what happened please post the details.

Thanks for the rest of the story..
Too bad.
My problem is I don't remember any bad weather here in WNC.. but the weather there can be really bad. I have heard lots of stories about the waves in the open part of the lake.. I always told the wife if its really bad I just won't be home untill it slacks off.

Jocassee can be as bad or worse than Lakes Marion/Moultrie when a squall kicks up.
