I was up there last Sunday. Water was 70 in the morning warmed up to 75 at noon. Stained. No current and no wind, plus low water = tough bite out there. I would suggest you find some shad (wont be hard to do) and throw a bait that looks like them. Chrome and black should work, most shad are three inches. Good luck.

WENT sUNDAY 10-10-09 CAUGHT 15 OR SO SMALLER BASS ( 1 TO 2LB CLASS ) ON BLADES& NO JIG BITE TO MENTION AND NOTHING ON BUZZBAIT. FISHED all over the lake seemed better on lower end. fish were scattered in several pockets off main lake and back of afew creeks. no really good fish (over 3lbs) and no schooling action. to me it really kinda sucked. All the bass were skinny and looked like a faded blue color kinda scary. Water was very full and dropped 6 to 8 inches while we were there the blue green was even on the wet high water line. Any one know why?
