You have a inline fuse under the cowl near battery cable coming from the battey. Should be red and says fuse on it. you may have to take a cover off to see it held on by two phillips head screws. on the port side of engine near starter.

Neutral safety switch maybe not be closed. hold switch in start postion, move gear shifter back & forth to see if you can find a spot were the starter may try to turn.

It means that your ignition has applied power to the alarm circuit and has sent the signal back to the horn or gauge. This does not mean the motor will start. It only means it is ready to start. You MUST have spark when the motor is cranked to apply spark to a 60* motor like yours you must have good voltage on the cranking battery, Once the motor spins the stator will apply the voltage to fire the motor and the optical sensor will pick off the trigger when to fire. You can pull the starboard side amp connector from the power pack to verify fire but be ready to pull all plug wires as you can't cut it off from the key switch. I would recommend you have H20 running on cooling muffs to the motor before attempting this procedure.

Sounds like you need to take to a service tech like Championman or Michael Martain
