Anyone been to Jocassee recently? If so, how were the bass biting? Looking to go early in the morning. Thanks and take care.

Sorry for the late report but it was a slow day on May 19. We ended up with 8 spots in the 2 to 2.5lb range and one 4 lb fish. All were caught on points and points only. No matter how good the banklines looked, we could not catch any fish there. Also caught 2 "small mouths" at the towers. Unfortunately they were not smallmouth bass but big ugly carp with a "small mouth". Good luck guys.

Saw some real big ones cruising at the waterfall at the Duke Power site but could not provoke them.

FYI, we kept a few of the spots to eat. Upon cleaning we noticed they were full of eggs.
