I'm eyeing a 1966 1100 mercury. What are these worth? It's been sitting since 94 and was running when parked. The owner told me to make an offer. It was modified to get rid of the points.

Is be hesitant on offering more than 500. As your gonna have to spend a good bit on getting it running. Tune up carbs gear case seals etc. You also need to look at the wires as the sheilding is prob dry rotted and you'll need to address that too..
It would be a fun project to play with and restore if your into that...
