Any big fish pot? Also dead fish penalties?

Yes....you can enter Big Fish pot the morning of the tournament.

When will we know out blast off number? I think it was listed it would be on the order that you registered?

What is big fish cost and how many boats do you have registered already?

We will contact everyone this week with launch number. We are somewhere in the 30s with pre-paid registrations.

Can we register at the ramp?

1. Check in and On Site Registration begins at 5:30 am at Broyles Ramp in Anderson, SC. A launch fee or Corps of Engineers Pass is required. (Deposit $5 fee in Iron Ranger as you enter Broyles.)
2. Launch Order will be determined by order of paid registrations.
3. Bojangles of Seneca is providing biscuits for all anglers. These should be available by 6:30 am.
4. Launch will begin at 7 am or Safe Light whichever occurs first.
5. Weigh-in is at 3 pm. (This was changed due to popular demand). Only 5 fish may be weighed in. There is a 12 inch size limit. Only largemouth bass, spotted bass, or smallmouth bass may be weighed in. There will be a 4 ounces per dead fish penalty. No more than 2 dead fish may be brought to the scale. There will be a one pound per minute late penalty deducted from total weight. Returning more than 5 minutes late will result in disqualification. In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken by the size of the largest fish being weighed in by the teams that are tied.
6. Cull on the 6th fish. No more than 5 fish are allowed in the live well at a time. A team bringing more than 5 fish to the scale will be culled down to 5 fish starting with team’s largest fish.
7. Live bait is not allowed.
8. Anglers should not leave the boat for any reason other than bad weather or nature’s call during tournament hours.
9. Alcohol/Drugs are not allowed.
10. Anglers must abide by all state and federal boating laws and regulations. Any infraction will result in disqualification.
11. All anglers are subject to a polygraph. Failure or refusal will result in disqualification.
12. Anglers may launch at Portman or other nearby ramps but must check in at Broyles and have live well checked prior to launch. Failure to check in will result in disqualification.


Optional Big Fish Competition

To participate in the Big Fish Competition, you may pay $10 cash when you check in on Saturday. This will be 100% payback to the winner for those who choose to participate
