The ramps at Gum Branch in the city of Hartwell and Tugaloo State Park in Lavonia are now open.

These are nice ramps with huge parking lots. They need to put in some bigger docks. Maybe soon.

I don't know if there is a fee in Hartwel but the one at Tugaloo requires a state park pass which is $5.

Well the Georgia State Federation has got their Federation Top 6 Tournament scheduled out of Tugaloo State Park April 4 and 5. That means there will be an additional 300 - 400 boats on Hartwell the weekend of April 1-3. Just in case you wanted to know!

The Ga. Top Six tournaments have down-sized.

I would only expect around 100 boats for that event.

I do remember fishing in some of those with close to 300 boats...that was back in the 90's before the federation split between FLW and BASS.

The Ga. BASS Federation Nation is having their Top Six out of the Hartwell ramp this Nov. 20-21.
