The Rally was a huge sucess. We had 28 boats show up from all across the south-east.
The day started with a small meeting of 14 boats. After a safty check we rode to Buffalo Creak so the guys could have some calm water to play in. After many 90 - 100 MPH passes were made we headed up to Billy Drehear Island State park. We tied down & 7 more boaters joined in.

At 1:15 we started back to P&L Landing for some lunch. (Thanks David for the great burgers!) Too full to walk, we rolled back into our boats.The last 3 hours were great.The final count was in, 28 boats made the event. For a first time event I felt like this rally went semi- perfectly. I would like to apologise to the 9 late entries we missed. Next time our booth will be staffed all day.

This will be a summertime event in 2001. There will be a rally on the second Saterday of each month starting in May and ending in September.
