Couple friends/family from GA, SC, and NC got together at Buster Boyd. We put a few bucks together and had a small pot going. Fog was heavy so my team motored to Copperhead to start. Fishing flukes, CB's, and JnP with out much luck. How ever I did miss a nice one off the fluke at the back of a dock, she blew it out of the water then came back and latched on. She took drag once and came unbutton. After the fog left we motored to a hump and saw some schooling activity. Chunked out a CB and the first cast produced a nice short fish ALMOST 14 inches. In 2 cast my partner picked up a nice schooling short fish off CB also. Got quiet so we moved down Mills Creek fishing docks, laydowns, and secondary points. Used JnP, CB's, flukes, floating worms, and senkos. Noticed a couple of docks had bream around them and those where the only docks that produced fish also. In total we caught over 13 short fish many between 12, 13, to almost 14 inches. Couldn't bring any of them to weigh in because it had to be 14 inches but they were biting that's all that mattered, hehehe. Docks with bream, skipping flukes, senkos, shaky heads, and floating worms was our ticket. Water in Mills Creek was mudy and stained for the most part. Came in at 3PM.
