call cabela's tech support.. I bought another transducer for my NEW 510 yesterday... He knew what I wanted and his first question was did I want temp or not... I saved $10 by not getting temp... there will be another one in the boat anyway. who ever uses temp for much anyway???????????
maybe that should be a topic for discussion... what do you do with the temp information.
I like to use it in the summer as I have someone back me down the ramp to see how darn HOT IT IS... or now to see how COLD IT IS>
