The teens will be going to Gatlinburg TN to the IMPACT YOUR WORLD YOUTH CONFERENCE in June; each teen has to raise their own money to pay the costs of the trip. This is a nationwide youth conference that could make changes to these kids lives.



We require the teens to get one sponsor and work at the tournament in order to share in the proceeds from the tournament. All of the proceeds will be divided evenly among the teens who meet those requirements.

I just wanted to give everyone some information about the Temple Baptist Teen Benefit Open Bass Fishing Tournament on April 7 out of Broyles on Lake Hartwell.

The teens from TBC will be going to a nationwide youth conference in Gatlinbur in June. The conference is titled IMPACT YOUR WORLD. The teens are responsible for raising the money to go to the conference. This will be the second time we have held a tournament as a fund raiser for the teens. We had many positive comments last year from fishermen encouraging us to do the tournament again.

We require the teens to secure one sponsor and work at the tournament to earn their share of the proceeds. All procceds are divided evenly among the teens who meet those requirements.

We are guaranteeing $750.00 to win, plus we will have many door prizes to be gave away in random drawings to the fishermen.

If you are looking for a tournament on this weekend we urge you to consider the TBC Youth tourney, the youth conference could be a life changing event in the lives of these teens.

We will pay one place for every 5 boats. We are gauranteeing first place will be a minimum of $750.00. The entry fee is 75.00 per boat with an optional big fish pot of $5.00 per boat. We have many door prizes to give away, we have marine batteries, Daiwa reels, Zoom tackle packs, many restaraunts have donated gift cards etc. We have had a lot of interest so far in the tournament. We are getting calls and entries almost daily, and prizes are coming in almost daily. Hope this answers some of your questions.
