Took Fri. off work and came to town. Pop and me was on the lake by 5PM. Went around to some brushes in 15+ ft. and picked up (1) about 2+ # off shakey head. Motored to a flat and picked up another 2+ # off shakey head. Motored to a rocky point and picked up another 1+ # off shakey head. Went to a road bed and picked up (2) 1+ # & 3+ # off shakey head. Motored to some more 10+ ft. brushes and broke off a hog on shakey head. Felt much bigger than the previous fishes. Was dark, never saw it, got it close then she took a hard dive under the boat and my 8# fluro. snapped. I think the line got nipped around those brushes. Motored to some more brushes 10+ ft. and pop was able to pick (1) about 5+ # off C-Rig. Called it a night about 11PM. Glad the fish bit and considered the trip very sucessful.

Thanks BM and IM. I've not been out much so wether the fish bit or not it was enjoyable.

Ice Man, was you out Fri. 07/25 on Bowen, headed towards I26. Thought I saw your boat but was not sure waved to them either way.

Wished I knew yall were there I would have looked you up.
I fished around the dam Friday evening had some schooling just before dark.
Came back Saturday mourning and had some big schools come up. Not much size to them but a lot of fun.

Sounds like good times 33788. I have heard about the shakey head, but how is it rigged?

I personally like using Spot Remover up to 1/4 oz. but there is so many brands and style available. I like the screw in better and usually throw it with a finesse worm. Hope this helps.
