just for some info
Has anyone ever had an old rod re-wrapped
maybe one of your favorite rods or just for a spare
---------I'm talking about, taking all the old guides and tip off and putting new ones on
Is there someone that will do this
do any of you wrap rods
and if so, what kind of cost are we looking at
I know that the cost of the guides would play into the total, but, just a general idea
Would it be cheaper to ,just buy a new rod
Yesterday, Dewayne, showed me a rod that a guy had repaired the tip,(about 3 to 6 inches had been snapped off) ---he had spliced it, and epoxyed it and it seemed like a pretty good fix
----also said the guy could replace guides and tips, and I'm sure that he could do what I'm talking about, just wondered if any of you guys do this type of thing
