One of my dogs got jumped on and tore up pretty bad last week. Today my wife was walking on our property behind our house and some coyotes chased her and the dogs. Does anybody know of a way to get rid of coyotes? Does anybody hunt coyotes with dogs or know how to call them? If so, I would like to know. I've got to do something about them or there gonna just take over my property. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,Rusty

i have an electronic caller with all the coyote calls, i havent even tried them out yet but sounds like you might have the place to see how good they work. That is a real problem when they get after people i have a few more techniques to get rid of them that some people may think is a little in-humain so p.m. me for those. When they get that bad humain goes out the window for me weve had a lot of problems with them on our hunting lease. ill be glad to help give me a shout.

I lived in NE for about 7 years and saw them all the time. I had a "predator" call and it sounds like a wounded rabbit. I called a few coyotes in but never got to shoot one. I bet an electronic one would work great. In NE they hunted them with greyhounds. They had dog kennels on the back of pickups ... the guys would drive around till they spotted a coyote and then release the dogs. The dogs would run them down and kill them. I don't know if it was legal then or now. I just know it works.
