Fished the SAC today. It seems to me that things are a few weeks behind where they should be at this time - mainly the water temp. The fish have not moved to the normal places we catch them in late November. Bobby caught one over 3 this morning and that was it for us. That fish was on the edge of a deep spot but was not deep. Changed up mid morning to fish for a shallower bite and caught a couple of short fish but that was it for us. I do not remember the water being over 60 right now - it did not matter what part of the lake we were in either. Guntersville sure can spoil you. I hope those that live there appreciate the quality of that fishery.
Lots of bait and small fish in the backs of creeks and pockets but they did not want what we were doing.
Congratulations to those who caught fish. I think 13 won and 12 was second. Anyone have any info on what won the other two tournaments?
Greg

We saw some water temps. in the 63 degree range, but only in a few areas. Bait is still not pushed back far into the creeks. Me and the partner had 8.48lbs, had the limit before 9:30, and then could only upgrade a pound or so. Tough day out there. Congrats to the winners

We did not have enough success to give you an idea from what we did.
I know fish were caught on what appeared to be a #5 shad rap in the back of one creek. I watched them catch 4 keepers that way and they had a limit already.
